The FERRY Ski Week is organised by FERRY Rotterdam (“FERRY”, “we”, “us”).
The person making the booking is referred to as “the traveller”, “you” or “your”.
These Terms & Conditions apply to your booking of the FERRY Ski Week in Sölden, Austria, taking place from 13 to 20 March 2027.
The FERRY Ski Week is a group trip to Sölden, Austria, taking place from 13 to 20 March 2027.
The services included in the trip are described on the official FERRY Ski Week information page and in the booking confirmation.
The total price of the trip is €1,750 per person.
Any services or expenses that are not explicitly stated as included are excluded from the trip price.
A €500 deposit per person is required to reserve a place on the trip.
A booking is considered confirmed once FERRY has received the required deposit and accepted the booking.
The remaining balance of €1,250 per person must be paid in full no later than 13 December 2026.
If the remaining balance has not been paid by the deadline, FERRY may cancel the booking subject to the applicable Dutch and European legislation and the cancellation conditions communicated to the traveller.
The FERRY Ski Week requires a minimum of 40 participants in order to operate.
The trip is therefore subject to reaching this minimum number of participants.
To allow FERRY sufficient time to assess whether the trip can be operated responsibly, an initial booking threshold applies.
By 8 September 2026, at least 70% of the required minimum number of participants must have booked the trip.
Based on a minimum of 40 participants, this means that at least 28 participants must have a confirmed booking by 8 September 2026.
If fewer than 28 participants have confirmed their booking by 8 September 2026, FERRY reserves the right to cancel the FERRY Ski Week.
If FERRY cancels the trip under this provision:
This threshold exists because continuing to organise the trip below this booking level would create an unacceptable financial risk for FERRY.
Even if the 70% booking threshold is reached by 8 September 2026, the trip remains subject to reaching the required minimum of 40 participants.
The final payment deadline and final go/no-go date is 13 December 2026.
By this date:
If the minimum of 40 participants has not been reached and FERRY therefore cancels the trip, 100% of all amounts paid by the traveller will be refunded.
Where applicable, FERRY will exercise this cancellation right within the deadlines and subject to the requirements of applicable Dutch and European package travel legislation.
The traveller may cancel their booking subject to the applicable cancellation conditions.
The fact that 13 December 2026 is the final go/no-go date for FERRY does not remove any statutory cancellation rights that the traveller may have under Dutch or European law.
After the trip has been confirmed, cancellation by the traveller may result in cancellation charges. The applicable cancellation charges will be communicated clearly to the traveller as part of the booking conditions.
A traveller may also have the right to transfer their package travel agreement to another person, subject to applicable legal requirements and any reasonable costs actually incurred by FERRY.
FERRY reserves the right to make minor changes to the trip where reasonably necessary.
If FERRY needs to make a significant change to an essential element of the trip, the traveller will be informed and will receive the rights provided under applicable Dutch and European package travel legislation.
Where required by law, the traveller may have the right to accept the proposed change, accept an alternative arrangement or cancel the trip without cancellation charges.
Where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination or its immediate vicinity significantly affect the performance of the trip, the traveller may have statutory rights to cancel the trip without paying a cancellation fee.
Any such cancellation will be handled in accordance with applicable Dutch and European package travel legislation.
The traveller is responsible for ensuring that they have all documents required to travel to Austria, including a valid identity document or passport where required.
The traveller is also responsible for complying with any applicable health, immigration, insurance or other entry requirements.
Skiing and other winter sports involve inherent risks.
Travellers are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance that specifically covers winter sports and skiing, including medical expenses, accidents, rescue and repatriation where applicable.
FERRY is not responsible for losses or costs that are properly covered by the traveller's own insurance.
All participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards fellow travellers, FERRY staff, accommodation providers, transport providers and other suppliers.
FERRY reserves the right to take appropriate action, including excluding a traveller from further participation, where their behaviour:

FERRY will take the steps required under applicable package travel legislation to remedy the problem where appropriate.
Complaints should first be reported to FERRY during the trip so that we have a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
If the complaint cannot be resolved during the trip, the traveller should contact FERRY in writing as soon as reasonably possible after the trip.
If the FERRY Ski Week constitutes a package travel agreement under Dutch law, FERRY will provide the legally required protection against insolvency.
Details of the applicable insolvency protection, including the relevant protection provider and contact details, will be provided to the traveller as required by law and in the booking documentation.
